Super Smash Bros. Tournament: Spot Dodge
The Esports Cave has been proud to bring you all of your favorite Super Smash Bros. tournaments in the Austin area. We are excited to keep bringing you tournaments in this new series at the Haute Spot!
Venue and Tournament Basics
Singles will start with Swiss Pools and then Double Elimination finals!
There will be 3 rounds in swiss pools with the top half proceeding to a top 32 bracket (top 32 if we hit our cap). Progression in the pools is simple; winners play winners and losers play losers for 3 rounds. You must win 2 of these rounds to go to the double elimination bracket.
Mondays at Haute Spot – 1501 E New Hope Dr, Cedar Park, TX 78641
Feb 10th, 17th, and 24th have been confirmed. Haute Spot has a world class bar and grill so NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES (water bottles okay). You MUST make a purchase to qualify for redemption bracket.
Schedule
5 pm: Venue Opens and freeplay starts
6 pm: Ultimate Doubles bracket
7 pm: Ultimate Singles bracket (swiss pools)
8 pm: Redemption Bracket; must not win more than one game and purchase food or beverage to qualify!
12 am: Venue Closes

You can register on Start.gg or in person, cash is accepted
Registration for next week starts soon after event.
Deadline to register for events: 15 minutes before the start of each event

No Macro Functions!
We will have Hyperkin Gamecube adapters. If you want an official Nintendo branded adapter, please bring your own.

1. Be RESPECTFUL. Use your words wisely and treat the venue, TOs, and contestants with dignity.
2. If feeling sick, do NOT attend.
3. No vaping inside.
4. Do not touch TO station or argue about seeding, but you may request not to be paired with carpool.
5. No outside food or beverage (water okay)
