Cedar Park has always felt like a welcoming city full of welcoming people, so we were thrilled to join that community when opportunity struck. With places like the HEB Center and the incoming Scheels, this city is poised to become a hub of entertainment for all.
The Esports Cave opened in the Cedar Park area in September 2021. Opening an esports arena right inside Chaparral Ice felt like the perfect synergy. We hosted tournaments, special events, birthday parties, bachelor (or bachelorette) parties, farewell parties, and other celebrations. Both adults and kids loved our family-friendly, premier Cedar Park gaming facility.
Our love of the community led us to continue to serve the Cedar Park area. As we open up in Pinballz soon, we are just a short drive down either Hwy 183 or Cypress Creek to the Lake Creek area to join us! Check out how Visit Cedar Park Texas is fostering tourism to Cedar Park.
Because of our great work at Anderson Mill, Chaparral Ice approached us to bring an esports arena to their location in Cedar Park! This is the perfect combination of physical sports and esports. Our location quickly became a go-to for gamers of all ages. Parents loved dropping their kids off and we had groups of dads who would get together and game.
Our high end equipment with 3080s and 1440p screens made for an excellent experience for games of any type. We had so many things to do in Cedar Park with people choosing to come in after practicing hockey across the hallway. Our large selection of games and professional stage made it easy to host game launches and team events, as well as birthday parties and casual get-togethers.
This location had been a hit! With summer camps we had the perfect blend for kids to enjoy the best of every world.
Chaparral Ice had space galore, including an events center that we could use for tournaments. We loved hosting you for some of your favorite game tournaments such as League of Legends and Valorant.
Our first major win was Set Count, where we hosted a Super Smash Bros tournament. It grew from 200 people in our center to 800 in the events center in just one year, with a killer after-party. Typical Gamer joined us for a huge Fortnite tournament with Next Gen Academy.
Our Call of Duty tournament attracted over 20 teams from all over the nation. Large events like Austinite Fights brought fighting game community together to play Tekken and Street Fighter. Go Games 360 had an event in our upstairs event center to bring together gamers of all types including card and board gamers.
These events were made possible by a stage set up for the largest 6v6 competitions, and our production facilities came in clutch for the best commentary possible.
Chaparral Ice was repossessed by building management, and we had to move again. While we were working on keeping the best esports experience going, we ran some events at the Haute Spot. With ample parking, amazing food and drinks, and a wonderful venue, every gamer felt right at home again.
The largest event was Encore, a tournament with Super Smash Bros, Rivals of Aether, and Mario Kart. It was a huge success with several top 100 players in the world at our event. We had a 20 foot screen to display the games with a professional commentary section. There was great food and custom character styled drinks for Smash.

The Esports Cave is still dedicated to bringing the best center and tournaments to the Cedar Park area, which is why we chose to work with another venue so close.
