If nautical nonsense be something you wish, get ready to dive into the world of Spongebob Squarepants this summer as PowerWash Simulator introduces it’s brand-new dlc inspired by the animated series, Spongebob Squarepants. However for those unaware of PowerWash Simulator, the name of the game summarizes it quite well. In PowerWash Simulator players powerwash various dirty locations from dirty driveways, gardens, and now the ocean. One does wonder how a pressure washer would work underwater, though when it comes to Spongebob it’s better to not question such things. Either way players will be able to roam the world of Bikini Bottom through a first-person perspective, though things may be dirtier than how you remember them.
The developers of PowerWash Simulator, Futurlab, have given insight into the upcoming dlc on their blog, fueling anticipation among fans. Players will have six new maps to explore and wash, including Bikini Bottom, Conch Street, and The Krusty Krab. Furthermore, alongside the new maps the power washer itself has had a redesign for the new maps, adorning a theme that fits within the world of Spongebob. The cleaning tool now sports a thematic appearance that looks straight out of the zany cartoon world of Spongebob Squarepants, further adding to the immersion. This attention to detail adds an extra layer of nostalgia and authenticity, ensuring all fans of the series will feel right at home as they go about washing away dirt and grime.
Drop on the deck and flop like a fish!
The addition of Spongebob Squarepants to PowerWash simulator was a delightful surprise for fans.Earlier this year, THQ Nordic developed and treated fans of the yellow sponge to SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, a platforming adventure. Fans may know THQ Nordic as the developers of Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, a well-received platformer.
