Reopening The Esports Cave in Pinballz Lake Creek
- Sep 04 2026

Come join us as we reopen The Esports Cave this fall!
I’ve been working hard to bring you The Esports Cave inside of other businesses as a way to better synergize with the communities around us. That’s why we’re partnering with Pinballz at Lake Creek to bring you an excellent gaming experience.
Where: Pinballz Lake Creek 13729 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78750
The spot we will occupy will be to the right when you enter the location. It’s that curvy area where there used to be axe throwing past the escape rooms.
What: The full Esports Cave experience you’ve come to know and love, with 20 stations. We’re even working logistics with Pinballz to deliver their bar and grill food and beverage directly to your seat! We will now be offering a premium video game experience right in the middle of the biggest gaming hub in the area!
When: Our soft opening date is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, on September 3rd or 4th. This is contingent on getting electricity and internet built in time. I could honestly open a lot faster, but since those two things take time we’ll have to wait. Patiently. It’s been a long journey since we closed our last chapter and we now see a light at the end of the tunnel.
I’ve been a customer of Pinballz for a long time and enjoyed a few parties and get togethers there. I’m proud of them for what their business is and am absolutely thrilled to be there to game with you all. Thank you for being a great community all these years.

Stoked to see you reopening. My son is excited to return! We really enjoyed playing Risk of Rain 2 with you and your SO.
Will you be hosting any upcoming overnight sessions?
Hey glad you’re watching out for us coming back!
Yeah, we enjoyed that Risk of Rain session with y’all as well. My SO is now my wife, we got married out on a cruise in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Estonia. She’s probably the face you’ll see the most at the front desk now.
I want to start hosting overnight lock-ins, but since we’re in Pinballz now I don’t set my own hours. What I can promise is that I’ll be working with them as much as possible to be bringing back events like that, and possibly plenty more. There are a lot more opportunities for events with good synergy and they have tons of space to grow into for large events.
Think about how cool the lock-ins will be now that we’re in Pinballz; imagine doing laser tag and then hitting some video game tournaments. I can’t wait!
Connor and the family/team – Thrilled to see you guys reopening, and I know my brother/ all the friends who hung out with me at the Cave (Anderson Mill location) feel the same way.
Congrats on married life and looking forward to visiting when I’m in Austin.
