Ever since I was a kid I’ve always being interested in esports. I used to watch a lot of competitive games such as FIFA, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, Injustice, and many more. I first started getting into the esports scene by playing competitive in Fortnite mobile. I played this game ever since it came out. I stopped playing when I started college since I didn’t have the time to play as much. However, this was the time when I started to play Smash Brothers Ultimate. I had joined the school’s Smash club. From there, I decided to become a competitive smash player. I loved this game very much even though at the time I wasn’t good. I had a lot of catching up to do to. I watched a lot of videos, studied the game, watched other people play the game, just to try to get better. It took me about 1-2 years of practice till I became a noticeable player at my locals. I started taking games off of Power Ranked (PR) players from DFW. Stopped going 0-2/1-2 at tournaments. More as of recently, I’ve been at my peak so far. I started beating people I couldn’t beat. Even people that I still can’t beat I have made it was closer than it was before. One of my biggest accomplishments is that I was ranked in the top 10 players in Austin for the Q1 2024 PR season. From unranked to being top 10 in just one season of trying. I aim to stay in the top 10 and at least get top 5 eventually. I know I can do it, and it’s just a matter of time. I look forward to becoming the best player I can be and reach heights that I’ve only dreamed of. I want to be the best in my city, and even best in my region. I know it’ll be an uphill battle but I’m willing to put in the work.
